Cost savings we get to pass on to YOU!

Checking in to share a quick, exciting update. The Detroit Lakes (Minnesota) NRCS (Natural Resource Conservation Service) recently awarded us a contract for reforesting land. This contract reimburses us for a portion of our costs to purchase 4,000 seedlings and hire a planting crew. We continue to remain committed to transparency, and so we’re happy to pass on this government cost share to our customers. At the start of the year, our price was $18.18 per tree. This NRCS cost share award will reduce that price by $4.52 per tree, bringing our 2024 price to $13.66 per tree.
A big thank you to the Detroit Lakes NRCS. Their staff has been a huge support in our conservation efforts so we can keep tree prices affordable for our awesome customers.
As mentioned in an earlier post, this year’s trees will be planted at our new Basswood property at 47°03'02.9"N 95°20'34.9"W Becker County parcel #220009003, Pine Point Township, Minnesota.
