Reforestation Costs

Because we’re the land owners and managers, there is no broker or 'middle man.' All our costs are laid out in the table below. Our profit is $1 per tree. As you can see, this is no walk-away forestry. We put the resources into making sure the trees we put in the ground are cared for year after year until they're mature enough to withstand environmental pressures like deer browse and vegetation competition. So you can be sure that the money you spent ensures your tree(s) will be standing years down the road.

We submitted a cost share application with the Natural Resource Conservation Service for our 2024 Basswood reforestation project, and our application was approved! Woot! We happily pass this cost savings on to our customers, so our price per tree for 2024 is reduced by $4.52, bringing our total cost to $13.66 per tree. Their staff has been a huge support in our conservation efforts so we can keep tree prices affordable for our awesome customers.
